My kids are growing up. I have been mulling this recently. They are delightful, and as they become more differentiated as individuals, as children, as people, I wonder how it could have happened, so quickly and so gradually. I have a photo on my computer–the screen background–of the two of them, in black and white–when they were 3 and 6. Now they’re 5 and 8. They are the same but different. I hope I remember this phase.
