I am intending to use this blog, Cities & Signs,
to support my teaching. Already, I use the web for course materials,
but it is difficult to regularly update the web with new information or
the latest information. It is much easier for me to send an email to
this blog with ephemeral changes that occur during a semester. Also, it
allows students an open forum to ask questions and offer their thoughts!

I
am hopeful that this will be an easier way for students to remain
updated on any given course in a semester. As with any teaching
activity, we shall see how this works!
