cultural gardens–czech garden

Last week, I gave a tour of the Cultural Gardens. I just love to visit the place and talk about it with people. Amazing insights from all over, and always great questions. Earlier this spring, I took this photograph, which is one of my favorites of all time. It captures, I think, the sense of the Czech garden and how the statues sit together, sharing space and defining place, and yet they are distant from one another in time and ethos. I especially love the frieze of Czech history.
